Granny Smith, Buckeye Gala and Pink Lady.
Favourite variety and why?
Gala due to the fact they are harvested early but also taste amazing!
What do you do to have fun?
Run after kids, camping and water skiing.

F because of Family, Fun and Frothies.

Mick Ajani (C’mon Clarke, you need to get out more!!)
Laurie Thompson
Laurie is full on in his drive to produce the highest quality apples. He is hands-on and guides and participates with all aspects of growing. There are two properties consisting of 400 acres, one located in the Yarra Valley and the other in Gippsland. Both sites were selected for their fertile soils and unique climate. He specializes in Granny Smith, Gala, Ruby Pink and now Kanzi. All is planted in high density intensive trellis systems, taking advantage of the higher production and improved quality. All of the orchards are covered with netting to improve quality and protect the fruit.
Mick Ajani
Mick has a passion for growing apples and has done so for over 60 years. Mick is located in the south-east of greater Melbourne and has two separate Orchard sites. The Orchards were originally situated for easy access into Melbourne markets but are now located only a stones throw from the Tynong facility! Mick specializes in high coloured Pink Lady, Granny Smith and Gala. The orchards are planted in intensive trellis system to take advantage of higher production. Both Orchards are entirely enclosed with netting to protect the fruit from birds, hail and extreme weather.
Clarke Rutherford
Clarke is located in Toolamba outside of Shepparton. The Orchard is situated on the fertile soil of the Goulburn Valley. He specializes with Pink Lady and some early Buckeye Gala. Clarke has two separate Orchard sites which total well over 200 acres. Most of the orchard systems are trellised and a significant amount covered with Hail netting.
